Over £600 raised for CAFOD Coronavirus Appeal

This summer, Notre Dame’s Young Spiritual Leaders challenged students and staff to raise awareness and funds for CAFOD’s Coronavirus appeal, supporting those in the developing world who are facing particular difficulties during a challenging time.

CAFOD asked us to remember and pray for those having to isolate while living in shanty towns or refugee camps, those needing to wash their hands but there’s only one water pump in the village, and those needing to stay strong and healthy but food is scarce. CAFOD’s experts work in local communities delivering vital hygiene training, food parcels and awareness raising of COVID-19 and through the efforts of our ND community, we have far surpassed our fundraising target by raising over £600 which will help to support this incredible work.
Thank you to everyone who has donated as it really will make a difference. If you would like to contribute, we are still welcoming donations via Notre Dame School Plymouth’s Just Giving page:
As a school we are looking forward to being able to continue to fundraise for CAFOD and other charities that are close to our hearts through this account in the future.
