School Cleaner

required from November 2021, Grade A (from £8.91 per hour)

10 hours per week (7am – 9am Mon – Fri)

41 weeks per year, plus statutory holiday pay entitlement (term time plus three weeks)

Plus, Contributory LGPS career average pension scheme

We are seeking an experienced cleaner to work as part of a team to provide the appropriate level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school. Whilst experience of working in a school and using cleaning equipment would be an advantage, it is not essential, as training can be provided. We are looking for an individual who enjoys cleaning, who is efficient, responsible and reliable.

The hours are worked across 41 weeks of the year, this is term time plus 2 weeks in the summer school shutdown period. The working hours will be fixed as either 7am – 9am, or 3.30pm – 5.30pm Monday to Friday during term time and hours during school shutdown will be mutually agreed between the post holder and the Site Manager, in advance.
